My Pop Studio is an online creative play experience that strengthens critical thinking skills about television, music, magazines and online media directed at girls. Developing media literacy skills is increasingly important in a world where girls spend much of their everyday life consuming and creating media.

When My Pop Studio was refreshed in 2009, I wrote copy, created graphics and helped develop and update the games on the site with our off-site developer. Once development finished, I was the content manager for the site’s blog and moderated conversation to maintain a safe space for our young users.
