All of my work has been driven by my interests in community media, social equity, media literacy and civic engagement. I have worked as an educator and media maker in academia, commercial television and nonprofit spaces, creating nonfiction and narrative stories.

An East Coast native from the "American Pizza Belt," I graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with B.A. degrees in Media Studies and Sociology, where I honed my passion for blending these two disciplines. I earned my M.F.A. in Documentary Production and Studies at the University of North Texas.

Other things I especially enjoy: cooking, travel, crafting, plants, thrifting, swimming, campfires and spending quality time with my dog and friends across the country and world.
